A very commonly used solution consists of a fifty-fifty ratio of white vinegar and ammonia, and dissolved in a gallon of water. After scrubbing this cleaner onto the windows, buff it dry with your clean lint-free cloth. If there are mold and mildew on your window sill, try using a paste made with baking soda and a small amount of water. After you rub the paste on the moldy area, rinse it clean with the ammonia and white vinegar solution.
