I Want To Start My Own Window Washing Business
For a long time, I have been wanting to quit my job as a vacuum cleaner salesman. I want to do something interesting, something fun. The other day, I read a very interesting article about window cleaning, and what a great line of work it is. It got me thinking, and now I want to start my own window washing business. In fact, I have been talking to quite a few people, and all of them have told me it’s an absolutely great thing to. There are many benefits.
For instance, I can earn $600 a day, perhaps even more. And that’s just if I’m working on my own. If I have a crew, I could earn more than that! The start-up costs are very low, I could get my business started with just $200, and then start minting cash. Operating costs per day are quite minimal. Plus, there’s a huge market for this kind of work – glass is everywhere, and it tends to get dirty easily. Enter window washers! I can work from home, I don’t need to have an office, and I won’t even be worried by the constraints of a 9-to-5 job. There are no requirements for such a business – age, gender, or background stuff is not needed. I can even use my own car – no truck or van is necessary. And the biggest advantage is that one doesn’t need a college education for this. Yes, I have made up my mind that this truly would be an amazing job to have, and I want to start my own window washing business.
However, there are things I need to consider first. How can I get it started the right way? How do I develop new customers and accounts for my business? How should I approach potential customers, and make the sale? How do I determine the services I shall provide in my operations? How can I hire sub-contractors to work for me? What rules and regulations should I follow, to run a successful window-washing business? And how should I analyze the competition? How much should I charge? Yes, it’s not enough that I want to start my own window washing business. There are things I need to think about, things I need to consider before taking that final step. I’ll think to think about the supplies I need, and the equipment I’ll be required to buy.
Should I use coupons and discounts to increase the sales and profits in my business? Can I use flyers to advertise? And lastly, what specific methods and techniques should I use, to run an efficient window cleaning service? Surely it’s profitable work, but going into it with a level head and clear thought process would be beneficial. So I shall be sure to do my research and think carefully, and in a few weeks, I shall go ahead with the business. That is perhaps the best way to go about it.
